Our Private Reserve Kona Coffee is a proprietary blend of 100% Kona Coffee beans exclusive to Koa Coffee. Which really means it's our secret blend. A combination of Kona grades that is loved and enjoyed by our customers. This one is a perfect medium roast to showcase the flavor unique to the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano on which Kona Coffee beans are grown. In whole bean Kona Coffee, because you already know the aroma of freshly ground alone is enough to put a smile on your face, before you even pour the water. Consistently one of our top sellers. We've been getting Koa Coffee's Private Reserve for years now & haven't been disappointed. It is definitely the best Kona coffee out there with a strong flavor and a smooth finish. The lack of bitterness puts it in a category of its own; simply the best out there!

Over Roasted

This is great coffee but to my mind over roasted. It says medium roast but looks more like a dark roast with the darker color and oily feel to the beans. My Ethiopian medium roasts are lighter in color and are not oily. Think this would better if it was roasted somewhat lighter.

I have a hard time deciding between this and the Estate coffee, so I get both and some times mix together.
