It's more like a med/dark roast. Not sure if coffee is roasted upon order. Date of roast not specified on package.

As I sit here at my table this morning sipping a cup, it's worth every penny. Just finished Jamaican Estate. That was good but very light. This has body of no other coffee you'll find.on the earth!

This is the best coffee I have ever had. Very expensive, but worth it for an occasional treat. Wish we could afford it for every day.
