Estate Kona Coffee
Estate Kona is a specific term that means you're getting Kona Coffee that's the product of one Kona farm, never mixed with crops from other Kona Coffee farms. But even still, not all Estate coffee is the same and here's why. The Kona coffee belt is located at an elevation from 500-3,200 feet above sea level. The higher the elevation, the higher the quality. Our Estate Kona is from a high elevation, single estate farm.
High-altitude coffee cherries are denser, which is highly prized among specialty coffees for being a highly aromatic coffee with a much more complex flavor profile. The flavor is vibrant, rich in undernotes of fruity, floral, and citrus notes. They're big, flavorful beans, harvested by hand and roasted with care to showcase the flavor unique to the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano where these beans are grown in mineral rich volcanic soil under the Hawaii sun.
